Robin van Persie, the Arsenal captain, finished the 2011/12 Premier League campaign with 30 league goals, equaling former Gunners forward Thierry Henry’s club record for a single season. The 28-year-old forward has received the Golden Boot award for the first time in his career, along with £30,000 to be given to a charity of his choice.
This is his third accolade in recent weeks after he took both the PFA and Football Writers’ Player of the Year awards.
You can get your own Golden boot award from Premier Trophies. The golden Puma King trophy comes with free engraving and is 14 x 34 cm.
You can see a section of golden boot winners over at the Premier Trophies Pinterest site.
